Sefer Peat hashulchan, on Mitzvos Hatluyos BaAretz, based on Piskei HaGra, by the Gaon Rabbi Yisroel of Shklov, one of the leading disciples of HaGra.
This is one of the first books on Mitzvos Hatluyos BaAretz, Mitzvos that were almost forgotten due to the long years of exile. Rabbeinu's book is a basic book on these Halachot and a source of the Torah of HaGra.
At the beginning of the book, the author' s introduction with many interesting details on his Rav the Gaon of Vilna, the immigration of his disciple to Eretz Yisroel and the hardships they experienced there.
The printing of the book began in 1834 and ended in 1836 due to Pogroms and troubles experienced by the Hews of Safed. This is one of the first seven books printed by Rabbi Yisroel Bak.
