Rare and Special. Sha'arei Tevunah first edition with a dedication by the author the Steipler to the Novhardok Yeshiva - Bialystok, 1925.
The first - and extremely rare - book by Maran the holy Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Yisrael Kanievsky - the Steipler - authored by him when he was 25 years old.
On the top of the title page, a dedication handwritten by the Steipler to the Novhardok Yeshiva of Safed: "להישיבה הק' אשר בצפת ת"ו", The Steipler himself was a student of the Novhardok Yeshiva.
Stains. The leaf of approbations is missing.
Slightly dry paper. taping to title page.
Good condition.
Bound with several books - with stamps of the Novhardok Yeshiva of the Upper Galilee:
Chidushei HaRashba based on a manuscript - Jerusalem, 1931, Hasvara Yeshara - Vilna, 1906 - rare book that was approbated by the Chafetz Chaim.
