Princess Marie Louise (1872–1956), Granddaughter of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert – Personal and Moving Letter of Condolence to “Maria, ” Recalling “All the Old Days” and Offering Her Help – Kensington Palace - A warm and personal ALS (Autograph Letter Signed) by Princess Marie Louise (1872–1956), granddaughter of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and daughter of Princess Helena and Prince Christian of Schleswig-Holstein. Written from Kensington Palace and dated 12 June; no year is stated in the letter. The letter is written in English on Kensington Palace stationery, headed with a crown and: “KENSINGTON PALACE, W.” It is addressed: “My dear Maria” and constitutes a deeply personal letter of condolence following a bereavement suffered by the recipient.
