circa 1890, signed, embossed mark V & B Mettlach, model number 2107, writing protected against reproduction, cream-coloured porcelain stoneware, incised, matt painted and partially glazed, pewter lid, caricatured scene with inscription: "Your throne stands firm and without wavering even when the others all waver Gambrinus Rex", pewter corroded, mouth rim scuffed, h 39 cm.
