Photo Album - Jerusalem & Palestine - 19th Century
Photographs and Flowers of the Holy Land. Album with 18 photographs of sites in Jerusalem and the Holy Land, including the tomb of Rachel, Jaffa Gate, and the entrance to Jerusalem. The album also includes dried flower decorations. The photos are numbered, titled in English and German in golden letters, and marked with the publisher stamp. Bound in olive wood binding. Unidentified Publisher. Circa the late 19th century.
Dimensions of the photos: approximately 25X18 cm. Photos are mounted to thick album leaves, good-average condition, stains, wear. Album dimensions are approximately 23X32 cm, fair condition, chips to the wood, cracks, scratches, losses to the spine cover, missing parts of dried flowers, wear.
