Silver Pendant with Israel Map & the Traveler's Prayer
A pendant with a map of Israel (before the southern Negev was occupied), together with a military Jeep, an airplane and a ship. On the reverse are the wings of an angel, a Jewish star, and a quote in Hebrew from the Traveler’s prayer (Tefilat Ha’Derech). Possibly, used as an amulet in the Israeli War of Independence. Apparently, made by Bezalel. Marked with silver stamps. Israel, circa 1948. Diameter: approximately 2 cm. Good condition, wear.
