"Bar Mitzvah", a sculpture portraying a boy taught by a Rabbi how to lay Tefillin, as part of his preparations for the Bar Mitzvah. Titled at the bottom: “Bar Mizvoh”. Hand painted terra-cotta pottery. Marked and numbered on the bottom, alongside the stamp: “Made in Czechoslovakia”. Czechoslovakia, circa early 20th century. Dimensions of the base: approximately 13X20 cm, height, approximately 27 cm. Good condition, the boy’s arm might have been re-glued, chips, wear.
