Fundamental super-commentary to Rashi’s commentary on the Torah.
Although this sefer was published anonymously, there is extensive discussion among bibliographers as to the identity of the author. Some attribute it to R. Yosef Ottolenghi, the renowned Rosh Yeshiva of Cremona. Others assume that R. Yaakov Marcaria, who published the sefer was actually the author. Another suggestion is that it was authored by R. Eliyahu Bachur.
