Deroshos on the weekly Torah portions by R. Yitzchok Arama. Received to great acclaim, this sefer became been the basis for many of the ensuing Sifrei Drush. Due to the Sefer’s immense popularity the author is commonly known as The Ba’al Ha’Akeidah.
R. Yitzchok Arama (c. 1420-1494), was one of the greatest and most influential Rabbinical leaders in Spain, in the period up to the Jewish expulsion. He led a great Yeshiva in Zamora and later in Tarragona. Following the expulsion he settled in Naples.
