"The thing that interests me the most in painting is interesting patterns of light and shadow. If there are them, every painting subject becomes fascinating for me.
I believe my works include technique that is executed at the highest level, but technique is only the starting point.
The most successful paintings are created when I free myself from any existing idea, plan or conception, and rely on instinct and communication with the subject of the painting only.
Time does not exist, and art simply creates itself"
