"There are no balloons here" 2024
They are there in the rain and the sun, in the fall and the spring. Gray and simple and smooth, with each passing day accumulating rust, dust and nettles. In the courtyards of the empty buildings are a silent reminder of changing seasons and the lively life in this house. The neighbor's balloons are always more interesting.'

Avia Halabi (1996), a young Israeli artist, a gifted realism student - she also belongs to the stream of Israeli artists who studied art in Florence, Avia studied with Daniela Aston in Florence and in Israel she studied with Eran Weber and Stella lamihov.

''When I go out looking for a subject for a new painting, I find that I am drawn to the marginal and dusty corners of life. It is precisely in those corners that forces me to find the purest beauty. As a child, I was taught that God is in the small details - in the act of painting I seek to unite with that sublime feeling that has the power to make everyday life sacred. ''
