"Leocoon in the shower" 2023

A creation after the masterpiece "Leocoun and Sons Statue" (see photos). It is a statue depicting the death of Leocoon, the priest of the city of Troy. In the statue, Leocoon and his two sons are shown fighting the sea serpents that were sent to kill them, as revenge for Leocoon's warning about the gift of the wooden horse that the city of Troy received from the Greeks. The identity of the creator of the statue is unknown. The statue is made of marble and is 242 cm tall. The statue dates to 50 AD. It is displayed in the Vatican, in the Pio-Clementine Museum.
