He is both a painter and an architect in his training, the work of precision in the world of architecture he brought with him to painting, which he has been practicing for over a decade.

The details in his landscape paintings are exquisitely accurate, creating a unique and accurate realistic work.

Shani roams the country length and breadth, in communities that are in consensus and otherwise, and brings with him a photographic studio that he took. Then, he paints what he caught in his lens and gives the viewer bits of land, landscape parts, buildings, fields and localities in Palestine. His paintings are absent and the landscapes speak for themselves. Shani does not use modern and commercial features in his works, thus giving them a temporary, rooted and judgment-free quality.

Shani's works invite the viewer to set an internal clock while watching them, as if seeking to refine the viewer's attention to the landscape. Some and his paintings are created as individual paintings and there are series, although in each series, each painting stands in its own right. His works speak to each other's memories and create a familiar and pleasant place.

The works of the two are concentrated and full of interest. The artist paints acrylic paint and on the back of each piece he signs his name and painted place. His paintings are sold at auctions as well as overseas galleries
