The Anti-Semitic Order to Destroy the Jewish cemetery! An Important Letter by the Rabbi and Leader Rabbi Yehuda Leib Tzirlsohn, One of the Founders of Agudat Yisrael

Letter to the "members of the committee of the Batashanic community", about the "great outrage of the sacrilege by your municipality regarding the ancient cemetery".
They appealed to Rabbi Tzirlsohn since he was a member of the Romanian parliament and a leader of the Jews there. In response, he writes that they should appeal to the ministry.
The entire letter is handwritten and signed by him. Menachem Av 1928.
Rabbi Yehuda Leib Tzirlsohn (1860-1941) served as the Chief Rabbi of a district of Servia and the city of Kishinev and as a member of Moetezt Gedolei HaTorah of Agudat Yisrael.
Perished in the Holocaust.
Good condition. Written on official stationery.
