On the title page of the book, a signature: "Ya'akov Chaim S.T" – the signature of the author of 'Kaf Ha'Chaim' [Sofer].
An ancient inscription on the inner side of the front binding.
The Kabbalist Rabbi Ya'akov Chaim Sofer (1870-1939) was a disciple of the "Ben Ish Chai", one of the rabbis of Babylon and Jerusalem and a leading Posek.
