Bechinot Olam by Rabbi Yedaya Ha'Pnini – Prague, 1598 – First Edition of the Commentary by Rabbi Yom Tov Lipman Heller, Author of the 'Tosfot Yom Tov', which was Printed in the Author's Lifetime
The essay "Bechinot Olam", "authored by the scholar … Rabbi Yedaya Ha'Pnini the son of Rabbi Avraham Ha'Badrashi and with a request by the author… all its words begin with (the letter) Mem". Prague, [1598].
With a commentary (both for Bechinot Olam and for Bakashot HaMemin) by the author of Tosfot Yom Tov – Rabbi Yom Tov Lipman Heller who wrote the commentary in his youth. Before us is the first edition of the commentary that was printed in his lifetime!
In his preface, the Tosfot Yom Tov notes that he included in his commentary an anonymous commentary that was printed in the Soncino 1485 edition and the commentaries of Rabbi Moshe Chaviv and Rabbi Yosef Frances (printed in the 1552 Ferrari edition).

Condition: Good. Approximately a third of the leaves at the beginning of the book are torn (in their upper part) with an omission of several words in every page. The title and first pages are missing and have been completed by a simple photocopy. All the other leaves are in very good condition, clean and complete. New binding.
