On the title page of the book, two signatures of Rabbi Ya'akov Chaim Sofer, author of "kaf Ha'Chaim".
A long inscription on leaf 108, possibly handwritten by him.
Rabbi Ya'akov Chaim Sofer (1870-1939) was the disciple of Rabbi Abdallah Somech and Rabbi Yosef Chaim author of the "Ben Ish Chai". He was one of the prominent rabbis of Babylon and Jerusalem and one of the greatest Poskim. Author of the series of books "Kaf Ha'Chaim".
