2012 US Mint Silver Proof Set; Hard to get, low mintage 14 pcs – about 1 ½ ounces of pure silver.. Hard to get, low mintage 2012 US Mint Silver Proof Set; 14 pcs – about 1 ½ ounces of pure silver. All coins included in the set were struck at the San Francisco Mint. The 2012 United States Mint Silver Proof Set contains 14 coins in stunning proof quality displayed in three protective lenses. Each of these 2012-dated coins bears the “S” mint mark of the United States Mint at San Francisco. The quarters, half-dollar and dime are struck in 90 percent silver. The coins included in this set are: (5) quarters from America the Beautiful Quarters Program saluting El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico, Chaco Culture National Historical Park in New Mexico, Acadia National Park in Maine, Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park in Hawaii, and Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska, (4) Presidential $1 Coins honoring Presidents Chester Arthur, Grover Cleveland (1st term), Benjamin Harrison, and Grover Cleveland (2nd term), (1) Native American $1 Coin with the reverse featuring a Native American and horse in profile with horses running in the background, representing the historical spread of the horse and reflecting the theme of "Trade Routes in the 17th Century", (1) Kennedy half-dollar, (1) Roosevelt dime, (1) Jefferson five-cent coin, (1) Lincoln cent. The 2012 set was short produced and in high demand. It is getting significant premiums and is sold out everywhere.
