1973 Bicentennial First Day Cover Commemorative Medal & Stamps.. 1973 Collectible Bicentennial First Day Cover Commemorative Medals & Stamps. This set includes a American Revolution Bicentennial First Day Cover (Boston Tea Party Stamps) and Committees of Correspondence Medals. The sealed bronze medals feature Samuel Adams and Patrick Henry on the front and the Committees of Correspondence to unite the colonies on the back and a plastic Bicentennial Token. A set of original information cards about the American Revolution and Committees of Correspondence are included for each. As well as the “First Day Cover” stamps which are a four block First Day of Issue Stamps cancelled in Boston MA on July 4, 1973. The stamps have maintained their vibrant color and are very readable.
