Ilya Schor (1904-1961) – Gold, Silver and Diamond Brooch – New York, Ca. Mid-20th Century - Brooch by Ilya Schor. [New York, ca., mid-20th century]. 14K gold and silver, pierced and engraved; two diamonds, with a total weight of approximately 2.90 carats. Inscribed on verso: ”I. SCHOR N.Y.” and ”14K”. Designed as a miniature scene depicting a woman raising her hand toward one of the diamonds, a deer and a bird, amid flowers and stylized vegetal motifs, in Schor 's distinctive style. Set with two natural circular brilliant-cut diamonds. Brooch: 4.5X4 cm. Diamonds: approx. 6.7X6.7X4 mm and 8.1X8X4.3 mm. Total weight: 15.84 g. Good condition. Minor surface wear and scratches. Some oxidation and discoloration to metal. Pin and clasp intact. Accompanied by a report issued by the GCS (Gemmological Certification Services, London, 17 July 2026), stating that the diamonds have a total approximate weight of 2.90 carats; G-I color, SI1-I1 clarity.
