Letter from Harav Kook

The letter deals with the "sending of telegrams regarding the removal of the provocative libel against the pious Rappaport of Minsk, made by the Bulsheviks".
Rabbi Ya'akov Tuvia Rappaport, the chief Shochet in Minsk, of the Slonimer Chasidim. In the end, the authorities staged a "Public Trial" against him, following which Rabbi Ya'akov Tuvia was exiled to Siberia, where his traces were lost.
See enclosed material from letters of Rabbi Chaim Ozer to Rabbi Kook, in 1934, in which he writes of his activities on behalf of saving Rabbi Rappaport. (Kobetz Igrot Achiezer, letter 124, page 204; letter 305, page 457).
