Collection of about 20 books with lists of prenumeratten (sponsors who pre-purchase copies to cover printing costs). [Eastern Europe], first half of 20th century.
Most of the books were printed in Hungarian and Romanian cities. The people whose names are listed are from cities such as Satmar, Mukacheve, Erlau, Miskolc and many other Eastern European towns.
The prenumeratten are a historical source and often the only documentation of the names of many Jews who lived in Eastern European cities and towns.
