Collection of Telegrams – Jewish Institutes and Organizations
28 telegrams. Germany, Switzerland, United States, Czechoslovakia and Palestine, 1882-1976. Collection of greeting-telegrams sent in Europe and Palestine, including wedding greetings, Shanah Tovah and Happy Birthday greetings. Some telegrams were printed by postal companies or professional organizations (with greetings in Hebrew). Some were illustrated by artists. 1-13. Thirteen telegrams of various Jewish organizations in Europe, such as "Ruth" women society in Germany, organization of Jewish academics in Germany (1923), "Machzikei Emuna" school in Zurich, "Agudat Israel" in Switzerland and Germany (some from the 1920s), and more. 14-28. Fifteen telegrams of institutes and companies in Palestine and in Israel: "HeChlutz HaHaredi" (1946), "Ezra" movement (1945), "Tachkemoni" School in Jaffa (1911, 1930), Israel Post (1975-1976) and more. Total of 29 telegrams, size and condition vary. Good overall condition. Some wear. Stains. Some tears and reinforced tears to margins of several telegrams. Some were not used.
