Temple Mount / Al-Haram al-Sharif – Large Collection of Photographs – Late 19th or Early 20th Century

Large collection of over 70 photographs (some in multiple copies) depicting various sites in the Temple Mount, by various photographers – including members of the Bonfils family and others (mostly unidentified).

The collection includes general views of the Temple Mount compound and mosques, the Dome of the Rock from various angles, the Dome of the Chain, the Foundation Stone (Sakhrah) inside the mosque, arcades by the summer pulpit, and more.

Enclosed: several chromolithographs depicting the Temple Mount from various perspectives.

Size varies. Average size: 29X22 cm. Overall good condition. Some photographs appear in multiple copies.
