"חורבן צפת", שישה דפים בכתב-יד מאת ל. ו. חנוכי. [צפת], 25 בספטמבר 1929.
עדות מפורטת, כתובה בכתב-יד מסודר ומותקן לדפוס, לטבח שאירע בצפת במהלך מאורעות תרפ"ט; פורסמה במלואה בעתון "דאר היום" בעריכת זאב ז'בוטנסקי (בגליון מיום 2 באוקטובר 1929):
"המון עצום מלא את המסגד ואת השטח שמסביב לו... צועק הוא באחת 'נדבך אל יהוד אל כופר, דין מוחמד בלסיף'... המתנפלים השתוללו כחיות טרף, האחד אחז סכין קצבים בפיו ובידו אלה... האש אחזה כבר בחלק חשוך מהרובע המסחרי היהודי ובר[ו]בע הספרדי... כמעט החצי מבתי צפת העבריה נשדד וחלק גדול נשרף, את החורבן אין לתאר... לנו יהיה הרבה לספר לנכדינו וכאשר יגדלו יגידו אגדות היו אלו...". מתוארך וחתום בדף האחרון "ל. ו. חנוכי", 25.9.1929.
