Responsa Noda BiYehuda, Mahadura Kama, Parts I and II, by R. Yechezkel HaLevi Segal Landau Rabbi of Prague. Prague: Moses Katz, under the management of his grandson Israel Jiteles, by R. Zerach Eidelitz, [1776-1777]. First edition, printed in the author's lifetime. Two parts in one volume, with divisional title page for part II.
The book was printed in stages, beginning in Adar 1776 and ending in Tevet 1777.
Ownership inscription on the title page. Deleted signature on final page.
[2], 86, [9] leaves; [1], 157 leaves. 32.5 cm. Fair-good condition. Stains, including dampstains. Wear. Worming. Open tears, including large open tears to title page of part I and first leaves, affecting border, repaired in part with paper (border completed by hand, in ink). Title page of part I presumably supplied from a different copy. Stamps. New binding.
