An essay towards the recovery of the Jewish measures & weights [חיבור אודות שיעורי המידות והמשקלים היהודיים, בהשוואה למידות בנות הזמן], מאת Richard Cumberland. לונדון, דפוס R. Chiswell, [תמ"ו] 1686. אנגלית.
חיבור העוסק במידות, בשיעורים ובמשקלים השונים, המוזכרים בכתבים היהודיים הקדומים, תוך השוואתם למידות בנות זמן החיבור.
לאחר דפי ההקדמה נמצא [1] דף ארוך ומקופל, אם איורי מטבעות עתיקים ומעין סרגל ארוך עם שנתות למדידה.
המחבר, ריצ'רד קומברלאנד (Richard Cumberland, 1631?-1718), פילוסוף אנגלי ובישוף. את החיבור שלפנינו הקדיש קומברלאנד לחבר הפרלמנט הבריטי, סמיואל פיפס, שנודע בעקבות היומן שכתב, המתעד את אנגליה באותה התקופה.
ב-[4] העמודים האחרונים דפי פרסומת של המדפיס, Richard Chiswell, עם רשימת הספרים שהדפיס, ממויינת לפי גודל הספרים.
[16], 140, [4] עמ', + [1] דף מקופל. 17.5 ס"מ. נייר מעט יבש. מצב טוב. כתמים. קרע בדף השער וקרע קטן חסר בשולי הדף, ללא פגיעה בטקסט. קרע חסר קטן באחד מהדפים, ללא פגיעה בטקסט. כריכה חדשה.
