Copy of R. Wolf Boskowitz, with his signature at the top of the title page.
Additional (deleted) signature.
R. Binyamin Ze'ev Wolf HaLevi Boskowitz (1740-1818), prominent Hungarian rabbi. He was held in high esteem by the leading Torah scholars of his time, including the Noda BiYehuda, the Chatam Sofer and R. Akiva Eger.
Stamps of R. Yaakov Landau Rabbi of Bnei Brak.
[4], 102, 102-130, [1], 130-225, 224-246, 254-256, [1] leaves. Many leaves bound out of sequence. 29.5 cm. Fair condition. Stains, including dampstains (several leaves with many stains). Significant worming, affecting text. Tear to title page, repaired with paper on verso. Minor open tears to several leaves. Stamps and handwritten inscriptions. Old binding.
