The author, R. Shmuel Gallico, was a leading kabbalist in Safed and disciple of R. Moshe Cordovero. He served as rabbi of various Italian cities.

Ownership inscriptions on p. 10a.
86 leaves. Approx. 19 cm. Fair condition. Many stains, including large dampstains, and wear. Worming, slightly affecting title page border and text. Tears, including open tears affecting text, repaired in part with tape. Traces of paper repairs to inner margin of title page and in several other places. First leaves possibly supplied from a different copy. New leather binding, with damage.
