Two albums of pressed flowers with color lithographs. Jerusalem, [late 19th / early 20th century]. English, Hebrew, German, French, and Russian.
Two albums featuring combinations of pressed flowers and color lithographs – landscapes and sites of Palestine (Jerusalem and its gates, Nablus, Hebron, the Baron Rothschild’s "moshavot" and more). Explanatory captions in Hebrew, English, German, Russian, and French. Both albums in olivewood bindings.
1. "Album of the Flowers of Talpiyot, Zion, and Jerusalem, Judah, and the Galilee … Remnants of Ruins of Holy Sites … Settlements of New Jerusalem thriving outside the Walls of the [Old] City, Hills of Israel and Cities of Judah and the Galilee in the Land of the Forefathers" (Hebrew). Jerusalem: Jacob Pesach Vigolik & Partners (lithographs: published by Zvi Kadesh; Monsohn Press).
