Charity box of the Alt-Ofen burial society. Alt-Ofen (Obuda, Budapest), 5560 (1899/1900).
White metal, engraved; brass clasp.
Rectangular box with handle. Inscribed in Hebrew: "Belongs to the Alt-Ofen burial society, commissioned by the community leaders, gabbaim of the charity fund, R. Avraham Baron, R. Leib Deutsch, R. Mordechai Loeffler, R. Yaakov Klein, in 5660 [1899/1900]."
Height: 20.5 cm, width: 13 cm, depth: 10 cm. Rust. Unskilled soldering to clasp loop and coin slot.
