This is the first edition of the Bnei Yissachar novellae by R. Yissachar Ber Bloch (son of the Tosafot Chadashim on the Mishnayot); the Beit Shaul novellae by R. Yosef Shaul HaLevi Nathansohn author of Sho'el UMeshiv; and novellae by R. Yaakov Tzvi Yolles, author of Melo HaRo'im.
Copy of Rebbe Yehoshua Halberstam Rabbi of Dolina and of his son R. Chaim Yitzchak Eizik Halberstam Rabbi of Slotfina (Solotvyno), with their stamps and ownership inscriptions. Kvittel inscription near the stamp of Rebbe Yehoshua (presumably of the Chassid who gave him the book).
Rebbe Yehoshua Halberstam Rabbi of Dolina (b. 1878, perished in the Holocaust), descendant of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz.
R. Chaim Yitzchak Eizik Halberstam (ca. 1899-1944, perished in the Holocaust), son-in-law of the Atzei Chaim of Sighet. He was appointed rabbi of Slotfina in 1925, and established a prominent yeshiva numbering hundreds of students.
