A fundamental sefer on the basics of Kabbalah, together with Kabalistic drawings, by the mekubal Rav Avraham Azulai from Fez and later Eretz Yisrael, the great-grandfather of the Chida. He wrote this work in just five weeks, when he was staying in Gaza.
All later prints of the sefer follow this edition, although there is another rare edition from a different manuscript.
At the end of the sefer are printed Rav Chaim Vital’s essay “Avraham Avinu’s steps” and Breichas Avraham, an abridgement of the Ramak’s Tomer Devorah.
