Collection lot of 4 album pages of British Mandate of Palestine (EY / ”Palestine א”י”) Pictorial definitive stamps, issued 1927-1941. The pages are hand-annotated in French (”Timbre N°73 avec cachets divers, ” ”N°64,” ”N°66,” ”Timbre N°74 avec oblitérations diverses”) and organized as postmark/cancellation studies of single denominations. The pictorial series depicts the four classic Holy Land scenes — Rachel's Tomb, the Dome of the Rock (Mosque of Omar), the Tower of David, and Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee — with trilingual inscriptions in English, Arabic and Hebrew. Dozens of used (cancelled) stamps across four denominations, assembled to show a wide range of different town/date postmarks. Overall good used condition; a specialized postmark study lot.
