Manuscript by the "Chatam Sofer" - Segulah for Piety
A leaf, handwritten on both its sides by Rabbi Moshe Sofer the "Chatam Sofer".
The content of the manuscript is two Sugiyot from Gittin 34b: Noderet and Pruzbol. At the head of the page, the title "Sugiya De'Noderet". The leaf contains 7 segments of novellae on the Talmud and Rashi.
52 lines in his handwriting.
24 cm.
The novellae was printed for the first time in 2008 by the Institute for the publishing of books and studying manuscripts in memory of the "Chatam Sofer".
The Rebbe author of "Kedushat Yom Tov" recalled that the Chatam Sofer said of himself that he was sent from Heaven to be the Posek Ha'Dor and that sometimes special people are sent from Heaven to be the Poskim of the generation and these people have "Da'at Torah"!
Segulah for piety
The Rebbe of Satmar recalled that once the Chatam Sofer sent a handwritten letter to Rabbi Mordechai Bennet Av Beit Din of Nikolsburg. When Rabbi Bennet received the letter, he read it repeatedly. When he was asked why, he explained: "I had indeed understood his meaning the first time I read the letter; however, I am reading it again since reading the Chatam Sofer's handwriting is a Segulah for piety!"

Condition: Good. New, impressive leather binding.
