DEGEL MACHEN EFRAYIM – FIRST EDITION OF 'IMROT TEHOROT' BOOKLET – ZHYTOMYR PRINT
One of the basic books in Hassidism, written by Rabbi Moshe Chaim Efrayim of Sudilkov, the grandson of the Ba'al Shem Tov.
At the end of the book, the booklet 'Likutei Imrot Tehorot' was printed. The booklet was written by the author's brother, Rabbi Baruch of Medzhybizh. This is the first edition of this composition, which is four-pages long.
At the beginning of the book there is a handwritten inscription: "Friday, the eve of Sabbath, Parashat Vayera, 1885, this holy book Degel Machane Efrayim I have bought with my money in honor of … Yisrael Rabin". Rabbi Yisrael Rabin was the supervisor of Volhynia Kollel and one of the managers of 'Chaye Olam' Yeshiva.
