Commentary of Rabbi Elazar ben Arye Leib (1758-1837) on the Shulchan Aruch, Yore De'ah, chapters 1 to 162 (first part only).
The author was a genius and wrote many books. He served as rabbi in six communities in Poland and Bohemia.
An interesting point in the structure of the composition is the titles the author wri=ote on the sides of each page.
Printed in Vienna. Includes an introduction and a table of changes.
The book includes two scholarly comments as well as several marks and highlights, some in ink and some in pencil.

Condition: Very Good. Single moth holes at the end of the book. Especially thick pages.
