Sefer HaKavanot by the Ari. Third Edition. With glosses by Rabbi Petachya, Av Beit Din of Frankfurt, which were included in the text in round brackets, and a few of them were printed on a special page. An extremely rare edition.
Rare copy! At the beginning of the copy before us is a page "Luach HaTaut" which is missing from most of the copies which were printed.

In this edition the commentary "HaPeirush HaMetukan" was printed for the first time. The title "Sefer Chassidim v'Peirusho" is printed at the top of each page. Many quills were broken by the Torah researchers in an effort to understand the identity of the commentator who hid his name in his great humility.
