שלושה נשים ברקע בתים לקראת שקיעה , שמן על בד, 50x60 ס"מ, חתום וממוסגר, מקור אוסף לולה ויעקב בר חיים. יעקב וכסלר, ישראלי, יליד רוסיה, 1995-1912. בנעוריו עבר לגרמניה, שם החל ללמוד אמנות בהמבורג. בשנת 1935, לאחר עליית המפלגה הנאצית לשלטון עלה לארץ ישראל. בשנת 1948 היה וכסלר ממקימי קבוצת "אופקים חדשים". יצירתו המוקדמת של וכסלר הושפעה מן האמנות האקספרסיוניסטית האירופית. בשנות ה-50 של המאה ה-20 הופיעו בציוריו השפעות של הקוביזם. בסוף העשור נטש וכסלר את הציור הפיגורטיבי והחל לעסוק גם בציור מופשט גיאומטרי ובאופ-ארט. הציג במוזיאון ת"א במגוון גלריות בארץ.
