At auction number 55 of the Jaffa Gallery, "Israeli and International Art" will present for sale original works from the collection of Rafi Lavi, Nina Menks, and other private collections. ורד מלח, עשוי אלומיניום ומלח, בסיס מבטון, גובה 27 ס״מ כולל הבסיס. נושא אישור מקוריות מסטודיו האמנית.בימים אלה מוצגת תערוכה יחיד חשובה של האמנית במוזיאון ישראל אשר נקראת "הים בוער". סיגלית לנדאו מסכמת שני עשורים של יצירה בים המלח - מקום שהוא עבורה מקור השראה, מאגר של אנרגיה ויצירתיות אדירה. ממעמקיו יצרה לנדאו עבודות בעלות יופי עצום ועושר רעיוני, הנוגעות ביחסים שבין המוות לחיים, בין פצע למרפא, בין הרס לתקווה.
התערוכה רחבת ההיקף כוללת עבודות נבחרות ממכלול עשייתה של לנדאו בים המלח: מיצבים מרהיבים של חפצים שהושקעו במי הים, עבודות וידאו ותצלומים. לצד פרויקטים משני העשורים האחרונים, יוצגו לראשונה עבודות חדשות שיצרה לנדאו בים המלח. חלק מרכזי של התערוכה יוקדש לגשר מעל ים המלח, שאותו מתכננת האמנית שנים רבות.
הקהל מוזמן לצלול בעקבות האמנית למעמקי ים המלח ולצאת ממנו אל עבר אפשרות של גשר בין דעות, תרבויות, דתות ועמים - גשר על פני מים בוערים.( מתוך טקסט התערוכה, אוצר אמיתית מנדלסון)
