Work review - David Meir Cúneo

The works of the artist David Meir Cúneo have been known to me for about fifteen years.

I first encountered his works as part of my work as a sub-curator and head of a department at the Israel Museum.

The photographer left a number of works for my consideration, and I immediately grasped his unique and inspiring visual language.

The photographed works of the artist David Meir Cúneo go far beyond the standard technical, documentary photography and communicate in the language the art.

An extraordinary visual intelligence is evident in his photographs, which is expressed in challenging the viewer to observe once more, more deeply, not only in his works, but in reality itself.

His works excel in a rare compositional precision, in a unique personal artistic language that is recognizable even after decades, and in the breathing space that exists in all his works.

Beyond the physical aspects, his works reflect a unique point of view of creation as a sublime work that is constantly renewed.
