סיימה בהצטיינות לימודי אמנות-יצירה באוניברסיטת חיפה, השתתפה 4 שנים בכיתת האמן קייסקה סריזאווה שם למדה את אמנות הדפסת הקימונו. בזמן שהותה ביפן אספה נייר יפני עשוי בעבודת יד ופיתחה את טכניקת הקולאז'' שלה תוך שימוש בנייר זה.
