Lives and works in Nir - Chen. Born in 1952. Retired art teacher. Conducts painting classes combined with guided meditation. Graduate of the art institute "Midrasha", in Ramat Hasharon, 1986-1989. Various courses in painting, drawing, ceramics, mosaic. Intuitive drawing, and more... Member of the Ashkelon Artists Association. Exhibits in various exhibitions over the years. Paints abstract in oil paints or acrylic and watercolors.
I convey my view of the world through my paintings. It is somewhat detached from what is usually referred to as reality. I paint abstracts that are, in my view, the appropriate way to express a reality that I perceive as dynamic rather than one dimensional.
Paintings emerge after a meditative observation. An image appears from which a painting developsand crystalizes.
I mostly paint with oils or acrylics that are well suited to my characteristically rapid and impulsive style of painting and subsequent work in layers to process and refine the initial stage.
The paintings stem from a desire to express a spiritual dimension. At the beginning of my career, I chose more concrete subjects such as female forms, the world of flowers and plants, butterflies, etc. Spirals and light rays occupy a central place in my paintings today.
