African ceremonial wooden mask, Ivory Coast/Liberia, Dan people, with round eyes and wide lips, holes in the mouth and surrounding it. Length: 22.5 cm. Width: 13 cm. Slight flaws around the eyes and a crack on the bottom. Provenance: Private Collection, NY (purchased in the 1950s).
