Lot of Yellow Cardboard Badges, Eretz Israel, WWII
Lot of two yellow cardboard badges, reminiscent of the yellow badge, which were distributed among members of the Jewish community of Eretz Israel between 1939-1943, in protest of the persecution of German and Austrian Jews, and later, in protest of the extermination of the European Jews. One badge inscribed: "Convert infamy with respect", from the January the 1st 1939 marches held all over Eretz Israel titled "Redemption of the Prisoners of Germany and Austria". The other badge is inscribed: "Carry the badge of infamy with pride!". Diameter: 4 cm. In addition a yellow paper tag from 1943 also handed out in protest of the extermination of European Jews. 4X5 cm. Overall good-fair condition.
