CHEUNG LESLIE : (1956-2003) Hong-Kong Singer and Actor. One of the most influential cultural icons in the Chinese world, known for his flamboyant screen characters and avant-garde androgynous stage presence. Throughout his career, he released over 40 music albums and acted in 56 films. Cheung, suffering from clinical depression, committed suicide by jumping off the 24th floor of the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Hong Kong. A very fine and unusual signed colour 10 x 8 photograph, the image showing Cheung in costume, in a scene film and in a woman´s role. Signed in bold blue ink with his name aloe to a clear area of the image. VG
