TAKAHATA ISAO: (1935-2018) Japanese Director, best known for his Japanese animated feature films. A collaborator and partner of Hayao Miyazaki directing under Nippon Animation the television series Heidi, Girl of the Alp (1974). Signed colour 7 x 5 photograph by Takahata, the image showing the Japanese film director standing in a half-length pose, posing with an award received. Signed in bold blue ink in Japanese characters to a clear area of the image. VG
