[THE WIZARD OF OZ]: GARLAND JUDY (1922-1969) American actress and singer, remembered for her portrayal of Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz (1939). Garland was the recipient of an Academy Juvenile Award in 1940. An excellent vintage signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph of Garland in a head and shoulders pose. Photograph by John Engstead and bearing his blind embossed stamp to the lower right corner. Signed by Garland in blue ink to a light area of the image, 'To Terry - Love, Judy Garland'. Some slight traces of former mounting to the edges and corners of the verso, otherwise VG
