YOUNG CLARA KIMBALL: (1890-1960) American actress of the early silent film era. Vintage signed and inscribed sepia 7.5 x 9.5 photograph of the actress in a head and shoulders profile pose. Photograph by Witzel of Los Angeles and bearing their credit stamp to the verso. Signed by Young in white fountain pen ink to the base of the image, ´To L. Ullathorne, The red rose was lovely and I wore it on the stage. Many thanks, Clara Kimball Young´, and dated London, 1926 in her hand. The ink is a touch light in places although perfectly legible.
