ROBERTSON CLIFF: (1923-2011) American actor, Academy Award winner for Best Actor in 1968 for his role as Charly Gordon in Charly. Signed 8 x 10 photograph, the original vintage Columbia Pictures Corp. publicity portrait by Coburn Jr. dating from 1955 and depicting Robertson in a close-up portrait study as United States Army veteran Alan Benson from the American psychological drama film Autumn Leaves (1956, billed with the original working title of The Way We Are to the printed caption attached to the verso). Signed by the actor in bold blue ink with his name alone to a light area at the head of the image. VG
